The EPC QR code, developed following the standards set by the European Payments Council for Quick Response Codes, facilitates SEPA Credit Transfers (SCT). By scanning the code with a banking app on your smartphone or tablet, a pre-filled transfer form is generated, allowing you to complete the transaction directly through the app.

This payment method is widely used in Belgium, Germany, Austria, and Finland. Banks supporting the EPC QR code include Argenta, ASN, Belfius, Bunq, BNP Paribas Fortis, ING, KBC, Knab, SNS, and VDK.
